Usually these "purist" or "fanatics" try to force their dog show religion on others. It has
nothing to do with health or care,  happiness of dogs or happiness of new puppy owner . Its simply someone who feels they have the right to control others and force their point of view
on them. Sometimes, we do get hate mail from folks who simply don't believe any dog
should be bred, those misguided folks have big hearts but are sadly uneducated. The biggest
 lie right now is "pet overpopulation".
It isn't over population, it is a distribution problem and mixes or ages of dogs that are
un-wanted. Case in point is the importation of mixes from Puerto Rico and similar places to
the North East and being able to sell those mixes for over $300!
If there truly was an over population problem, then sales in pet stores and thru the internet would be dropping not rising!
After all, its far cheaper to get a dog from a local shelter than ship one across the net! Since
we are willing to be responsible for ANY puppy or dog of ours, and are ALWAYS willing
to take our dogs back, we can hardly be considered badly because we provide puppies for people.
Also, at times we get hate mail from folks who think they know what a "puppy mill" is or
they are on some crusade to save the world. Again, good hearted, but uneducated, breeding does NOT make someone a puppy miller, poor conditions and lack of care could.
